Schloss Wackerbarth is steeped in history and stories: from its beginnings as the Count of Wackerbarth’s retirement home, through the production of sparkling wine during the GDR era and the extensive renovation carried out by the Free State of Saxony, right up to its current status as Europe’s first interactive wine estate.

You can find further information about our historical guided tours here. | Vineyard walk during the Wine Walking Weekend Starting at the foot of the Goldener Wagen, we’ll take you on a walk through our sun-drenched prime vineyards in Radebeul. Passing by ‘Paradies’, our route takes us past the historic Bussard sparkling wine cellars and on to the Wackerbarthberg.
