"The writer's self-experiment revealed a cinnamon, anise and orange-scented mulled wine that seems surprisingly full-bodied on the palate, with a slightly viscous, fruity sweetness enlivened by harmonious acidity. A mint component, also quite present, makes the taster think of a Müller-Thurgau as the base wine. And isn't there also a hint of Scheurebe spice? Anyway: sub-zero temperatures, you may come!"
